Plate #2 from this year’s wood firing. There is actually supposed to be a flower motif in the middle there, but this baby ended up rather close to the flame so it got blasted with ash. You still might be able to see it … if you squint really hard. Oh well, its still kinda pretty. Wood fired stoneware, flashing slip, underglaze/underglaze pencil, celedon glaze Zoom
